3rd Grand Rally Automobile

Join the Mustang Club of Tampa for the 3rd Grand Rally Automobile in Tampa, FL. This road rally is a fun, driver-and-navigator event where participants follow provided instructions to navigate their way to the rally finish.

With only 25 slots available, this event is limited to a small group of participants. Entry is $10 cash.

Driver’s meeting, then departure

Participants will navigate using the provided instructions to reach the rally finish. The event will end at an undisclosed restaurant for lunch, door prizes, and awards.

How the Rally Works

Each vehicle will need both a driver and a navigator. After the morning meet-up and driver’s meeting, teams will follow the rally instructions provided at the event. The final destination will be revealed through the route, ending with lunch and event activities.

1) Start at Tampa Bay Downs on Race Track Road
2) 0800-0830—gather for coffee and donuts
3) Each car must have a driver and a navigator. Extra observers are welcome in participating cars.
4) All participants must sign a liability waiver (a to-do during gathering)
5) Drivers/navigators meeting at 0830
6) Launch at intervals after we get everyone lined up
7) End at a nice restaurant — appetizers on the club, lunch on you, award ceremony as soon as scoring is completed
8) Trophies to the top 3 finishers plus door prizes!
9) We have room for 25 cars, please RSVP to me via email, cost is $10 per entry.  Proceeds will go to our charitable fund for Celebrate Birthdays and Honor Flight.

Vehicle Requirements

To participate, each vehicle must meet the following requirements:

• Each vehicle needs a driver and navigator
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Enough fuel for at least 100 miles
• Proper tire pressure and tread depth
